Check in

Check in is from 2pm, check out is at 10am (although we endeavour to have all rooms ready for check in by 2pm, this is not always possible due to circumstances beyond our control). Secure Luggage storage is available while you wait for your room. At the time of check in the total cost of accommodation is payable and a security hold is required for each room – $10 on credit card or $100 on Debit card or cash and Photo Identification.

Complimentary Parking

2 levels of complimentary undercover car parking (1.8m clearance) is available, subject to availability. We are not able to pre-book or reserve spaces. If our parking is full, a council carpark is located directly opposite the hotel and is unmetered from 8pm till 8am.

Payment Options

Coogee Sands Hotel & Apartments accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Eftpos and Debit cards. Cash is also accepted and requires Photo ID at the time of check in.

COVID-19 Safety Measures

Rest assured that you and your family will be in safe hands, we are a government registered COVID-19 safe hotel. Our staff have been COVID-19 trained and we will always ensure that hygiene and cleanliness remain as high a priority as our customer service. No-touch hand sanitiser is available in all common areas of the hotel and high touch points are disinfected by our cleaning staff regularly.

Quiet Hours

Coogee Sands Hotel & Apartments has a strict “No Party Policy”. We ask that you respect other guests in the Hotel and keep noise to a minimum when walking through common areas such as the hallways and staircases. Whilst we understand that this time away can be social, please remember that some of our guests are travelling with ill family members and/or young children. Coogee Sands Hotel & Apartments endeavours to ensure the comfort and enjoyment of all our guests. The Hotel reserves the right to request that disruptive guests leave the premises immediately without further warning. Should this circumstance arise, no refunds will be issued for unused room nights.

Cancellation Policy

For general bookings made via our website, cancellations and modifications can be made up to 72 hours prior to the arrival date. Any changes made within 72 hours will incur a one night’s accommodation fee per room booked. In case of cancellations, a cancellation email will be sent and should be retained as proof. Amendments to reservations are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed. If you decide to shorten your stay with us, you must inform us a minimum of 72 hours prior to the new intended departure date otherwise you will be charged the cost of one night’s accommodation per room booked. Public Holidays and Special Event bookings including Christmas and New Year are considered final and are non-refundable. The Coogee Sands Hotel & Apartments recommends travel insurance be taken out to safeguard your travel arrangements.

Special Requests

If you require a cot for your child, are a guest travelling with additional needs or have a specific request, please advise our team as soon as possible. Please note that whilst we endeavour to meet all guest requests, these are subject to availability.
